My catalogs are from 1991/1992 and on.
(only I through out my 2001 catalogs for soem reason [img]frown.gif[/img]
But I was really anxious to see a catalog from the 80's, so I asked for one for my birthday a year or two ago.
My dad bought, on ebay, the very first Pleasant Company catalog they came out with, and guess what- the picture on the front is the exact same picture as a catalog I already had from 1992!
On the 1992 one it says that this image was used on the very first catalog and it was Pleasant's favorite, so she re-printed it on a 1992 catalog.

A few others were also re-used.

It's too bad that the catalogues focus has shifted from reading to Girl's clothing. [img]graemlins/thumbs_down.gif[/img]

Thanks for the kind comments regarding my AG Image Gallery. I will be adding several new images to it and I will be adding catalogs through 2005 sometime this summer.

Wow, what an amazing page. I remember so many of those catalogues from my childhood and it was so fun to see them again. [img]graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

I saved every single AG catalog from the first one I received when I was six until I was about 13. Then my dad made me throw them all away. [img]confused.gif[/img] I begged to keep them and he would only let me keep like two. I had about forty. Of course, that means they'd be worth $400-500 on eBay now. [img]graemlins/cry_smile.gif[/img]
